General Terms and Conditions
Admission is open to everybody who is interested in learning English and wants to better their general knowledge of English language. Sunrise Languages Academy does not discriminate against anybody based on their race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity when admitting people in classes for which the prospective students are applying.
A minimum age of 14 years of age is however required to attend classes. An application for admission has to be filled by the student at the latest 15 days before the first class date in which all pertinent information has to be provided by the prospective student and the Sunrise Languages Academy Terms and Conditions are to be provided to the student. A letter of acceptance will be provided to the student by the administrative staff once all paperwork is done and fees are paid. There is a $110 non- refundable administrative fee, $65 fee and an $10 test fee, related to the pedagogical materials that a student will be receiving and test language level. The student agrees and understands that is responsible for his own transportation to and from the Sunrise languages Academy and Sunrise Languages Academy has no responsibility for such transportation. In case of expulsion of a student due to disciplinary problems, there will be no refund for the tuition paid and the student will not have, again, the chance to reapply for admission. Sunrise Languages Academy reserves the right to change any details pertaining to class schedule, accommodation, students’ activities when circumstances are beyond school control and it is not to be held liable for uncontrollable events or acts of God.
Sunrise Languages Academy and its staff will not be liable for damages, losses, injuries to any person or property during classes held on school premises. By the same token Sunrise Languages Academy will not be liable for any services that could not be supplied due to extraordinary circumstances or acts of God. Neither Sunrise Languages and its officers, employees, agents, staff, representatives shall be held liable – collectively referred as Sunrise Languages- Academy for any damages, injuries, judgments, demands, claims arising from the activities or whatsoever legal action against Sunrise Languages Academy entered by the participants. The participants referred as STUDENTS agree to hold Sunrise Languages Academy harmless and waive any claim related and arising from students’ participation in any activities due to their negligence, failure to act, intentional misconduct, and willful ignorance of the guidelines presented.
It is mandatory that all the students have appropriate accident and medical insurance. Students must provide proof of adequate cover at enrollment and it is students’ obligation to research and evaluate the merits and claims of any insurance provider. It is the sole responsibility of insurance companies to provide coverage and administer their policies, and students should do their due diligence in choosing the right plan or/and insurance provider relative to their needs.
However, Sunrise languages Academy can refer students to insurance providers upon enrollment.
Class attendance is mandatory, and students cannot and will not be reimbursed or have classes rescheduled due to their inability to be present at the time scheduled for classes. No rescheduling or refunds issued even when the absence is justified due to uncontrollable circumstances. Students have to comply with rules, regulations, and norms pertaining and critical to the optimal class teachings, and will be held accountable for any willful misconduct or/and disciplinary issue arising from inadequate behavior. Sunrise Languages Academy reserves the right to remove and expulse anybody and anyone not compliant with the Sunrise Languages Academy code of conduct and regulations. Examples of unsatisfactory conduct which will not be tolerated include but not limited to use of vulgar and foul language, sexual harassment, loitering, disrespectful and threatening behavior, engaging in violent and/or disruptive acts. Any disciplinary issues will be dealt with and addressed immediately applying commensurate sanctions culminating but not limited to expulsion of undesirable students.
Sunrise Languages Academy will be closed on public holidays and no compensation is provided for missed days due the public holidays.
Tuition fees as well as any other services purchased by the students including accommodation, extracurricular activities etc. have to be paid in
full, prior to the commencement of classes during the enrollment process and no later than 30 days. Tuition fees are calculated on complete
weeks. In case of cancellation received in writing 14 days prior to the first course start date, 100% of tuition cost will be reimbursed and less than 14 days, a 50% tuition fees will be refunded. If Sunrise Languages Academy cancels classes a full refund will be issued within 30 days of the date of cancellation. Transfer and accommodation documents will be released 14 days prior to arrival once payment has been received in full (where applicable). For all late payments made after the due date, a fee of 2% of the payment amount will be added. Sunrise Languages Academy reserves the right to alter this charge from time. Acceptable forms of payment include credit cards Visa, Master Card, Discovery, American Express and ATM; Checks or money order in US dollar drawn on a US bank, (payable to Sunrise Languages Academy) and wire transfer. Please request bank information and include a 35-dollar wire transfer fee.
Banks charges and commission for both, the sending and receiving banks should be paid by the sender of funds or they will be applied to the student’s account.

Sunrise Languages Academy offers through its affiliate Trustmar Inc.. accommodation services ranging from homestay with a family to private residences and hotels. The students can opt to purchase accommodation during enrollment, and the full payment is due upon enrollment or at the time of the booking. Full payment for desired accommodation is due 14 days before the scheduled arrival date. All cancellation or modification should be submitted in writing, and the amount of refund depends on the circumstances leading to the
cancellation/modification and it is solely at Sunrise Languages Academy discretion to grant the desired refund or modification.
Sunrise Languages Academy will not assume responsibility for finding accommodation for students who had to leave their family due to disciplinary problems.
Students have the option to purchase airport transfer services provided by a third party contractor. The third party contractor is fully responsible and liable to perform the schedule routes to and from the airport. The service is offered for arrival, departure, or both ways for which the fee is due at least 2 weeks before the scheduled flight.
If transportation information is received less than 2 working days prior to the scheduled arrival date Sunrise Languages Academy may not be in a position to provide the transfer service for the weekend of l arrival. Request for cancellation of aforementioned service should be made in writing and for less than a 3 day’s notice the fee is forfeited and no refund is issued.
Off -site trips, activities, and excursions are offered to students as a complement to their scheduled classes. Student participation is optional and exclusively voluntary and a Waiver of Liability form has to be signed in order for students to be able to join any extracurricular activity. Fees have to be paid in full and no refund will be issued for cancellation.

All refunds will be sent to the account of Sunrise Languages Academy representative to whom the fees were originally paid or the individual from whom Sunrise Languages Academy has received the original direct payment.
Promotional packages and special pricing for classes and accommodations are fully non-refundable with the start of the schedule date.
All cancellations must be made in writing to Sunrise Languages Academy admissions department and following refund policies apply: Enrollment Fee, Accommodation Placement Fee, or Administration Fee is non-refundable.
Sunrise Languages Academy is not liable in the event where it is unable to fulfill any service to which it is contractually bound because of fire, natural disaster, acts of government, failure of supplies or subcontractors, labor dispute, or other reasons which are outside its control.
Resolution of disputes
In the event of a dispute between an individual student and Sunrise Languages Academy, procedures are in place to facilitate the resolution of the dispute. Any complain should first be made to the student’s Sunrise Languages Academy Director. Each complaint will be fully investigated provided that it is received within a month of the course ending and all fees have been paid. If the matter is not resolved, the student should communicate in writing to Sunrise Languages Academy.
The students and her or his parents or guardian:
Agrees that the student’s photographs, videos, artwork or other works, as well as recorded or written testimonials and details of the student’s achievements (hereto referred to as “Student Images and Testimonials” may be used by Sunrise Languages Academy and its partner company Trustmar Inc. or by a third party agent of Trustmar Inc. worldwide for promotional purposes including in its printed and online marketing materials and on any social media network without further consent or notification.
And gives consent storing, or transferring across international borders, copies of the Student Images and Testimonials for such purposes.
Any information provided to Sunrise Languages Academy may be held on computer and shall be used in accordance with its data protection registration and the national data protection laws applicable. Sunrise Languages Academy may disclose appropriate personal data, including sensitive personal data of a medical nature, to relevant Sunrise Languages Academy staff and third parties where is a legitimate need or obligation to do so. We will not share sensitive information about students to any third party without their consent unless there are exceptional circumstances, such as when the health and safety of safety of student and others is at risk or where the law requires us to do so.

Acceptance of terms and conditions
I hereby agree that I have received, read, and completely understood the terms and conditions outlined in the present document and fully acknowledge that all the information presented to me by Sunrise Languages Academy is accurate and true. Moreover, I agree to follow and respect all rules and guidelines of Sunrise Languages Academy published in the present material and fully understand the consequences of not doing so.
Furthermore, I authorize Sunrise Languages Academy to use photos, videos and any other promotional material in which I may appear while participating in school or extracurricular activities to the solely discretion and to the usage that Sunrise Languages Academy deems appropriate for private or commercial usage. I hereby fully release Sunrise Languages Academy from any and all claims arising from the usage, reproduction, or publication of any images, videos, and photos.
